Clinique Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief

I felt compelled to write a post about this moisturizer, which has truly become my skincare hero. As I scrape the bottom of my third pot of this moisturizer (while nervously awaiting my brand new pink gel goodness to arrive in the mail), I cant stop wondering what I had been doing for so long without it.

Skin Types: Works for all skin types.

Claims: Enjoy rapid refreshment and a full 12 hours of soothing moisture with an addictive by-a-waterfall feel. Thank advanced hydration boosters and a new botanical blend that locks it in. Able to hold skin’s moisture in balance through stressful shifts in humidity, like steamy exteriors and interiors parched by air conditioning. Never go thirsty again.

Ingredients: Water, Cyclopentasiloxane, Butylene Glycol, Glycerin, Betula Alba (Birch) Bark Extract, Silybum Marianum (Lady’s Thistle) Extract, Camellia Sinensis (Green Tea) Leaf Extract, Saccharomyces Lysate Extract, Sucrose, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Water, Trehalose, Hydroxyethyl Urea, Sorbitol, Oleth-10, Tromethamine, Caffeine, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Hydrolyzed Extensin, Sodium Hyaluronate, Tocopheryl Acetate, Palmitoyl Oligopeptide, Caprylyl Glycol, Dimethicone, Glyceryl Polymethacrylate, PEG-8, Ammonium Acryloyldimethyltaurate/VP Copolymer, Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate, Carbomer, Hexylene Glycol, Disodium EDTA, Phenoxyethanol, Red 4 , Yellow 5

What I love about Clinique moisture surge is just that my skin loves it! Upon applying, my skin literally drinks this up like I drink a glass of water on a hot summer day. It hydrates and plumps skin immediately, while giving it enough hydration so that when I wake up, my face feels happy and well hydrated- and not at all not greasy. It also applies very well under makeup. It’s hard to describe, but it absorbs so well into the skin that I almost forget I have applied a moisturizer.

I find this thick, creamy pink gel to be amazing for any skin type, male or female, and I think any time of the year since it is very lightweight yet hydrating, and definitely for someone with sensitive, acne prone skin like mine. This is the only moisturizer. that soothes my irritated skin.

I have to stop myself from repeatedly tracking my order online- I don’t think I can be without this moisturizer even for one night! In the future, I will have to have a back up on stand by!

  1. I first discovered this through a gwp and then I was hooked! I love how it’s not greasy but delivers such a boost of hydration. I have an unopened jar in my stash right now waiting to be opened while I finish up some other skincare… now I’m just teasing you, aren’t I? 😛
Aww you poor thing without this right now – always have back ups of your favourites! 😉

  2. This is one of my all time favourite moisturisers, and most of the others are also from Clinique! They have some great ones, but I love this because, like you mentioned, it suits all skin types. My skin wouldn’t be without this!

      1. Yes! I love that too. My skin loves the Anti-blemish solutions moisturiser and also their anti-redness one. But I love to use the Moisture Surge during the cooler months. Xxx

  3. I’ve been using this after showers since hot water will dry my skin out but I love it! It’s a great product and I’m almost out and need to get more. 🙂
