It’s that time again! I am so excited to share my favs with you guys for the month of June. I have some beauty products which I have been loving, a TV show that I am obsessed with, and a book which I keep coming back to every morning:)
So here we go…
I am on my third bottle of this beauty and can’t get enough of it. It’s subtle, feminine and makes me feel pretty! Check out sephora to get a whiff and se if this could be your signature fragrance! I did a review here.
I have been wearing this lipstick probably every day this past month and it’s seriously the best lipstick purchase I’ve ever made. I do not regret getting this and just love how moisturized it keeps my lips while giving them the perfect amount of color. I love the creamy yet lightweight formula. See my review here.
I tried these when they first came out and at the time they only had 4 or 5 colors. I remember they were all way too bright and pigmented for my skin tone. They just came out with a bunch of additional shades and I tried out Nude Pop at sephora. I had to pick this one up- it gives my face the perfect summery glow without making it look like I am wearing blush! I highly recommend this for Indian skin tones. It is the only nude blush you will ever need. Plus look how cute the packaging is!!
“ABC’s new television drama series based on the book by Lily Koppel, “The Astronaut Wives Club” focuses on seven women who were key players behind some of the biggest events in American history. As America’s astronauts were launched on death-defying missions, the lives of their young wives were transformed, seemingly overnight, from military spouses to American royalty. As their celebrity rose, and tragedy began to touch their lives, they rallied together.”
Why I like it:
I finally found a show I enjoy watching on primetime television! I love the “historical fiction” aspect of this show, combined with great acting, humor and just the right amount of drama. So far, I am loving this and look forward to Thursday nights!
This is a book that I’ve owned for a while now but recently started reading every morning as I have my cup of coffee. Each daily entry starts with an inspirational quote and ends with an exercise in being more mindful. I have been enjoying this one and would recommend to anyone who is looking for some inspiration or motivation to be more present. I have the inspiration cards as well, which have less detailed explanations of the quotes and leave more to your interpretation. Both are excellent to keep or make great gifts.
Those are my June favs! What are your favorites for this month? Wishing you all a happy and healthy summer full of warmth and light:)
