aloo tikki (spicy potato patties)

These spicy potato patties make a great meal, wedged in between soft slices of warm bread with some ketchup or maggi sauce. They also make a great snack on their own, or alongside white channa and various chutneys. This delicious street food will always remind me of ridiculoulsy hot summer evenings in India, when the street vendors would pull up to our house and we just couldn’t resist! Who cares if it spoiled our appetite for dinner? I like mine extra spicy with lots of imli chutney:)
